The Tsalka Reservoir on the Ktsia River is located in the south of Georgia at an altitude of 1506 m. In terms of area it is the largest reservoir in Georgia. The scenery of this place immediately fascinates people and makes them fall in love with the terrain. Fishing here is excellent! Varieties of fish in the reservoir and the river are – wild carp, large carp, khramulia and trout, though for trout there is a special rule – “catch and release”.
The Sioni Reservoir is located on the Iori River, in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia at an alti-tude of 1100 m. The reservoir’s area is 12.8 sq.km, the maximum depth is 67 m. The slopes of the basin are covered with oak and hornbeam forests. Fishing here is also excellent! The catch brings wild carp, large carp, khramulia and shamaya. For trout there is a special rule – “catch and release”.
